Why art? Most artists work under the pretense of creating something new. I want to work on upholding what’s already here and make it last. You can only create something new out of what’s already here. Every mountain tree and animal is a color in a painting, a character in a play or a note in a song. The art creates its self every day with no audience to please. The sun does not set any less beautifully if no one is watching. My art is the voice I use to show the world what I see and what I want to see. “Because art, freedom and creativity will change the world faster than politics” victor pinchuck
What We See Inside:
Water- what we need
Fire- what we want
For this Art Series of photographs and videos I used materials and a stencil to capture backgrounds as my inner art work. I chose an evolutionary stencil to amplify my message of the change humans experience among themselves as well as the change they bring upon the world. My art is about inner humanity reflection and our ability to work back to out natural state even as we evolve. This project brought me put of my comfort zone by presenting skills I didn't even know existed like the laser cutter. I urge viewers to think about what would be inside their own hypothetical stencil and what they would want to have as a reality.
